The Story

“Some might say it was fate. Others might refer to it as chance. For Ellen Fissel and Sam Fout, all it really came down to was a simple seating chart arranged alphabetically by last name.

An attraction grew deep inside both of them in what could only be called a mutual crush. As children often do, they skirted around the issue. Ellen wanted to talk to Sam and saw a way in by borrowing his Nintendo DS during English. It not only got her into his world, but into his mind.

As the mutual attraction grew, the timidness stayed stagnant. A generous friend named Cait took it into her hands as if she was the baby Cupid in all his wonderful glory. She strung up her bow and procured arrows to shoot right into their hearts, showing each the glamorous world of love. Some debate whether this catalyst was a simple suggestion or a pervasive push but we’re more concerned here about the ends than the means.

Children are predictable. And when stepping one foot into the arena of love, nothing is more expected than the movie date. Both warriors of the heart met in the middle of the pantheon for what would turn out to be a memorable scrum. Fear and nerves present, the soon to be couple stepped into the colosseum of images. Sam and Ellen were off to see the most romantic of movies… 300.”
